Canon Launches Mirorless and DSLRs cameras!


Canon has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of three new cameras. These include two DSLRs and a mirrorless-type. As far as the DSLRs go, the entry-level EOS Rebel T7i is priced at $750, while the EOS 77D, aimed at amateur to advanced photographers, carries a price tag of $900. On the other hand, the mirrorless EOS M6 has a price tag of $780.



Both Canon EOS Rebel T7i and EOS 77D come with an optical viewfinder having a 45-point, cross type autofocus and Canon's dual-pixel AF system for live view mode. The two cameras also support Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth for connectivity. Other features include a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor, sensitivity range of ISO 100-25600, DIGIC 7 image processor, a tiltable 3-inch touchscreen display, HDR movie and time lapse movie modes, as well as continuous shooting of up to 6fps.



Also, the EOS 77D comes with features like an RGB-plus IR metering sensor and anti-flicker shooting. The camera also features a top LCD panel and a quick control dial for easier viewing of camera settings.

Lastly, Canon EOS M6 is an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera. It features a dual-pixel CMOS AF system, a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor, burst shooting up to 7fps, DIGIC 7 image processor, 5-axis image stabilization and Full HD video recording at 60fps.

Canon launched the EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera in India last year. Priced at Rs 2,54,995 (body only), the camera is the successor to the 5D Mark III. Aimed at video professionals, the 5D Mark IV features a 30.4MP full-frame high-sensitivity sensor and dual-pixel CMOS AF system for fast focus speeds. It is powered by Canon's DIGIC 6+ image processor with enhanced noise isolation and low-light shooting algorithms.

The camera comes with features such as support for dual-pixel Raw (DPRAW) format images and 4K frame-grabs. With an ISO range of 100-32000, the EOS 5D Mark IV is capable of capturing high-speed continuous shots at 7fps. Coupled with 61-point (all points selectable) reticular AF system and 41-point cross type AF system, the camera covers a wider focusing area and has extended vertical coverage.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV sports a 3.2-inch fixed touch-enabled LCD display of 1.6 million-dot resolution. In terms of connectivity options, the DSLR offers Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, NFC and USB 3.0.
